Dr. Brian E. Dubow is a board certified dermatologist and skin pathologist, and is an assistant clinical professor of medicine at the UCLA Medical Center. He has been in practice in Los Angeles since 1996 with his associate Dr. Peter M. Goldman. Dr. Dubow holds board certification in both Dermatology and Dermatopathology (skin pathology). Dr. Dubow has published articles in peer reviewed journals in the area of skin cancer and specifically, the early diagnosis of melanoma. In addition to his patient care practice, Dr. Dubow maintains a consultative practice in skin pathology and reads in excess of 12,000 biopsy cases each year for local and regional dermatologists. He holds faculty appointments at both UCLA and Cedars Sinai Medical Centers.
Dr. Dubow is a native of Scarsdale, New York and completed his undergraduate studies at Vanderbilt University, majoring in organic chemistry and molecular biology where he graduated summa cum laude and was elected into Phi Beta Kappa. He attended medical school at New York University where he graduated with honors in 1990. Dr. Dubow completed his dermatology residency training at UCLA in 1994 and was awarded a prestigious skin pathology fellowship with A. Bernard Ackerman in 1995. Dr. Dubow has been board cerfified by the American Academy of Dermatology since 1994 and received his Dermatopathology certification in 1997.
