Dr. Peter M. Goldman
Dr. Peter M. Goldman is board-certified as a diplomat of the American Academy of Dermatology and a fellow member of the American Society for Dermatologic Surgery. Dr. Goldman is internationally renowned for his special expertise in hair transplants and sclerotherapy, and is also well versed in other cosmetic dermatology treatments such as lasers, Botox and fillers.
He has been prominently featured in the media, including a New York Times article, in which he is referred to as the "go-to guy for Tinseltown's newly thinning A-list," on a segment of The Doctors, where he describes hair loss treatment options, and in an American Health and Beauty article about female hair loss. In addition to his Los Angeles patient care practice at Goldman Dubow Dermatology Group with Dr. Brian Dubow, Dr. Goldman is an associate clinical professor of medicine and dermatology at the UCLA School of Medicine, where he has been teaching since 1975.
Dr. Goldman attended Tufts University, receiving a Bachelor of Science degree in 1967. He continued on to the Tulane University School of Medicine, graduating in 1971. His postgraduate training included an Internship at the Los Angeles County-University of Southern California Medical Center from 1971 to 1972, followed by a residency in dermatology at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1972 to 1975.
Dr. Goldman has published articles and lectured to colleagues extensively on hair transplants, sclerotherapy and general dermatology at multiple association meetings, including:
